What Makes This Different

Full-service work. Self-serve control.

Managed Payroll isn't a bureau service. PayCub never holds, transfers, or touches your money. You pay your employees and remit to the CRA yourself. We handle everything in between.

We build your pay stubs

Once you submit employee hours, we calculate every deduction, build each pay stub, and verify the numbers before anything goes out.

We verify before you approve

Every pay run is reviewed by PayCub before pay stubs are sent. You get a Funds Summary showing exactly what to pay employees and what to remit to the CRA.

We send pay stubs to employees

Once you confirm the run is good, we schedule and deliver pay stubs directly to each employee by email. On time, every time.

We give you a complete report

The Funds Summary breaks down gross pay, all deductions, net pay deposits, CRA remittance, and our service charges. One clean document for your records.

We never touch your funds

You pay employees your way (cheque or EFT through your bank) and remit to the CRA yourself. PayCub is your payroll engine, not your bank.

Submit hours 2 to 3 days early

Send us employee hours 2 to 3 business days before each pay date. We take it from there.

How It Works

Four steps. Then you're done.

Most business owners spend two to three hours per pay run on payroll. At even a modest $50 per hour, that's $100 to $150 in time, every pay period. Managed Payroll gives that time back.

01

Submit your hours

2 to 3 business days before pay day, send us your employee hours (or confirm salaries). That's your only job.

02

We calculate and build

PayCub calculates CPP, EI, federal and provincial income tax, builds every pay stub, and verifies the numbers. You don't touch a CRA table.

03

Review your Funds Summary

We send you a complete Funds Summary showing gross pay, deductions, net deposits, CRA remittance due, and our service fee. Review and confirm.

04

Pay your people and we handle the rest

You pay employees your way and remit to the CRA yourself. We schedule and send pay stubs to every employee by email on pay day.

Step 1

Submit hours in minutes

Log in, enter hours for each employee, and submit. That's the full extent of your payroll involvement. We take it from there.

  • Hourly, salary, and piecework all supported
  • Add notes or adjustments per employee
  • Confirmation sent when we receive your submission
  • Deadline reminder sent 3 days before pay day

Step 3

  • All deductions itemized by employee
  • CRA remittance total clearly shown
  • Service charges broken down
  • Approve and we handle the rest

The Math

What is your time worth?

Most business owners spend two to three hours per pay run doing payroll: collecting hours, running calculations, checking deductions, generating stubs. At a conservative $50 per hour, that's $100 to $150 every pay period just in your own time.

For a company with 6 employees running biweekly payroll, Managed Payroll costs $47.99 per run. That's the full service: verified pay stubs, Funds Summary, and delivery to every employee. You spend five minutes reviewing a report instead of three hours doing math.

Example: 6 employees, biweekly
Base fee$29.99
6 employees x $3.00$18.00
Total per run$47.99
