PayCub has always been a self-serve platform. You run your own payroll, we handle the CRA math. That is not changing. But we are adding two things for people who need a different level of support.
Managed Payroll
Some business owners do not want to log in, enter hours, and run payroll themselves. They just want it done. Managed Payroll is for them.
Here is how it works: you submit your hours 2 to 3 days before pay day. We build every pay stub, verify the deductions, and send them to your employees on pay day. You get a Funds Summary showing gross pay, deductions, the CRA remittance owing, and our fee. You pay your employees and remit to the CRA. We handle everything in between.
PayCub never touches your funds. You stay in control of the money. We just do the work.
Pricing will be $29.99 per pay run plus $3.00 per active employee. No monthly base fee. If you do not run payroll that month, you do not pay.
Bookkeeper Pro upgrades
Bookkeepers have been using PayCub to manage multiple client companies from a single account for a while now. The per-employee pricing model works well for that. The Pro plan is getting a set of tools specifically for running a payroll bureau.
The main addition is a Funds Summary billing tool that lets you set your own fees per pay run and per deposit, collect from clients, and account for net pay going out to employees. We are also adding a company dashboard that shows upcoming pay runs across all your clients so nothing slips through.
Bookkeeper Pro will be $199/month. If you are currently on the Starter plan ($49/month), nothing changes until you decide to upgrade.
